Billerica, Mass.—November 07, 2008—Passport
Systems, Inc., a developer of a new, automated, non-intrusive cargo
screening system that will analyze the composition of materials and
accurately identify the contents of a container, including commercial
items, contraband, fissile materials, explosives, and other materials,
hosted Congresswoman Niki Tsongas at their new facility today.

Tsongas had the opportunity to see the progress made by Passport
Systems work aimed at resolving the inspection of cargo without
impeding the flow of commerce.
She presented Robert Ledoux, the
company’s CEO, with a Congressional Declaration acknowledging
Passport’s contribution towards the development of transformational
technology for the protection of the country against many threats including
smuggled weapons of mass destruction.
